The training “Nutrition in Kindergarten – the Key to Our Health” was extremely practical and useful. We were especially impressed by the interactive part, where we learned about suitable portion sizes for children and received creative ideas for encouraging them to try new foods. The engaging discussion and Dr. Maja Berlic’s expertise made the event a truly well-rounded experience.
Dr. Maja Berlic prepared an excellent expert lecture for the Association of Kindergarten Principals of Slovenia on health in kindergartens and regulatory compliance. With her clear and practical presentation, she offered concrete solutions that could be applied immediately. Participants responded very positively and gained useful guidance for their everyday work.
The lecture on healthy child nutrition impressed us with its interactive approach and many practical examples. We immediately started introducing new ideas into our menus, including vegetable-based snacks. The presentation had an exceptionally positive impact on our educators and kitchen staff, so I warmly recommend it to any team.
Working with Maja Berlic on establishing the HACCP system and organising training sessions has always been highly professional and solution-oriented. Her guidance made the staff’s work easier and improved food safety in our institution. She also actively participated in developing suitable menus and structuring key processes.
With her expertise and dedication, Dr. Maja Berlic has made an outstanding contribution to the field of nutrition in Ljubljana kindergartens. She connected different stakeholders, introduced innovations and significantly improved nutrition quality and health-hygiene standards. Her work has always been based on collaboration and creating a safe environment for children.
The lecture on HACCP delivered to our team by Maja Berlic was professional, clear, and highly useful for our daily work in the kitchen. The lecturer presented a demanding topic in an understandable and practical way and answered many practice-based questions drawing on her professional experience. Participants gained a great deal of useful information and guidance for even more consistent implementation of hygiene standards. We are happy to recommend this lecture to all teams who wish to further develop their knowledge in the field of safe food preparation.
The lecture by Maja Berlic brings together all key aspects of nutrition in kindergarten. She combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Some topics are especially important for kitchen staff to hear, for example how kindergarten nutrition has a long-term impact on children’s health, how to make food more approachable for children, and that for some children the food served in kindergarten is the only high-quality and nutritionally well-prepared food supporting their development. I warmly recommend this lecture.
